How to become a member

The ASU Faculty Women’s Association (FWA) is a volunteer organization that has been an active advocate for increasing the status and participation of women on the ASU campus since 1954. FWA and its executive board strive to be an effective voice for women faculty at ASU. In addition to working for changes in policies, practices and attitudes on campus, FWA is also devoted to providing career development, networking opportunities and recognition for the success of faculty and academic women at all levels. Much of this is accomplished through FWA programming and events, which includes workshops, leadership training, receptions, networking lunches and our annual awards program.

The success of the ASU Faculty Women’s Association relies on the contributions and support from its members. With a few exceptions, funding for FWA programming and events comes exclusively from membership dues. By becoming a member of the FWA, you become part of a community that provides support of important programming for faculty and academic women at ASU.
