ASU Diversity Scholars Series 2009: Dr. Alice Eagly
Dr. Alice Eagly, award winning psychologist, distinguished scholar, and author on gender related issues in the workplace will speak at ASU as part of the ASU Diversity Series.
Dr. Eagly's keynote address "The advantages and disadvantages of women as leaders: an evaluation of the evidence" will discuss the issues women face as leaders, research from her recent co-authored book: Through the Labyrinth: The Truth about How Women Become Leaders and her previously published research, "Female leadership advantage and disadvantage: Resolving the contradictions" and "Role congruity theory of prejudice toward female leaders."
